Duties

  • To study theories and application of life science fields, including biomedical science, biology, and medicine, to explore various complicated biological phenomenon
  • The research and application fields are recently expanded by converging with life science fields including science technologies, such as biochip, nanochip, and DNA analysis software, IT field (bioinformatics), chemistry(biochemical), machinery (biomechanics), electronic field (bioelectronics), and other science technologies

Duties

  • To solve biological problems by using informatics, statistics, computer science, AI, etc.
  • To use analysis tools to identify genes that play key roles from living organism’s DNA sequencing and analyze the relationship between genes and certain diseases

Duties

  • An advanced medical technology field that uses human cells, etc., to regenerate or restore human structure or functions and to treat and prevent diseases
  • Includes technologies that use body cell or stem cell to generate new therapeutic cell and tissue and technologies that use various drugs, materials, medical device, etc., to promote regeneration of damaged human body area
