To learn structure and function of cell, organelle in cytoplasm, cytoskeleton, and structure and function of cell membrane and understand signal transmission, cell cycle, cell apoptotic, and cancer-related cell regulatory functions.
2 1 Cell Biology Lab Life Science Lab Elective 2 To conduct experiments on immunofluorescence staining, which is one of the fundamental techniques, and learn types of cells composing brain and their roles
2 1 Biochemistry  Basic Life Science Elective 3 To understand biological phenomena by using life phenomena-sustaining chemical mechanism at the molecular level through understanding on the structure and catalysis of biomolecules, three-dimensional structure of amino acids and proteins, understanding on enzymes, and structure and components of biomolecules such as fats, carbohydrates, nucleic acids, and biomembranes.
2 1 Biochemistry Lab Life Science Lab Elective 2 To understand theories and methods of basic experimental methods used in biochemistry. To conduct lab practices, learn how to use mechanical instruments, and learn how to interpret results to enhance understanding of biochemistry. To separate RNA and proteins from cells or tissues, and conduct an analysis method using quantitative and analysis equipment.
2 2 Microbiology  Basic Life Science Elective 3 To learn history of microbiology, structure and function of cells, in-depth content on metabolism and growth of microorganisms, molecular biology of bacteria, and eukaryotic and prokaryotic microorganisms.

To learn regulatory mechanism for characteristics of prokaryotes and eukaryote for transcription, RNA processing, and translation, learn the latest molecular biology research methods and information.

3 1 Virology Advanced Biomedical Science Study Elective 3 To enhance academic understanding of virus threatening mankind in COVID-19 pandemic, and understand strategies for winning the war against virus in terms of vaccine and therapy drug development for integrated understanding on virology, molecular biology, immunology, and new drug development.

4 1 Medical Genetics Bioinformation Bigdata Elective 3 Medical genomics is a new field that has newly emerged from the remarkable development of whole genome analysis technology. This course aims to teach students the principles of genomic analysis techniques and genetic concepts related to the interpretation of results used in the diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment development for rare and incurable diseases and tumors.

Each student is assigned of an adviser to write a graduation thesis, and this course helps the students to be successful as a good biomedical scientist. This course encourages the students to be familiar with open evaluation through presentations.
